What are SMART Goals?
Students develop, monitor and reflect on their goals using the SMART Goal process. The SMART acronym stands for:
Goals are SPECIFIC when they are clear, not vague, and focused on one thing,
Goals are MEASUREABLE when they have number values or measurements associated with their completion.
Goals are ATTAINABLE when they can be realistically accomplished. Don't set a goal that you can't likely meet!
Goals are RELEVANT when they are personally meaningful and important in the long term.
Goals are TIME-Bound when they set a specific deadline for completion.
